When & Where
— Come out and play at the second annual DCGam.es festival for the chance to participate in a variety of unique and exciting games designed by local game makers, developers and enthusiasts. Uniting the community in the name of games, this interactive showcase of the nation's Big Games talent will take place at West Potomac Park in Washington, D.C., on September 1.
Inspired by the “Come Out and Play” games festivals in New York City and San Francisco, DCGam.es is co-founded by Nathan Maton, community manager at Gameful; Dan Henry, senior technology specialist with USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives; and Limor Schafman, chief instigator of D.C.’s serious games meetup Games Gateway.
